Does the salary floor just mean player salaries or does it include staff as well? Also how much does each player salary go up?

Salary floor just means player salaries of your team. Players salaries can only increase during the off season and it primarily depends on the skills of the players. Any increase in skills will have an increase in salary, and any decrease in skills will have a decrease in salary.
