Great win for you yesterday miguelon! :) It surprised me. Good game with BELLS vs Boxhagen too, Gansler injury was probably key in giving Bells the win - nice little bonus for me. Means I keep 1st for a few more days at least. My game was closer than I expected after "TIE"ing - if I'd used normal effort maybe I had a chance to win. Good opposition team though.

I like this division at the moment though, looks like we have 4 decent teams on both sides who can compete with each other instead of a few runaway dominant teams (which this division has had recently). I'd like not having all top 4 sides in a row but what can you do :D

Welcome to Utopia Marvel! I've seen you post on the forums a bit. Any plans yet for what you're gonna do with this team?

Oh hey brother. Yeah, I thought of getting Utopia mainly to do different things than what I'm doing with my primary team. Essentially, I wanted to get off to a better start with training, drafting and arena building. My only major concern is how I'm going to go about working on the arena. Finding the balance between adding too many or too little seats.

On a side note, I noticed an asterisk by mt team's record. What does it mean?

It means the team you took over had a "forfeit" this season (it happened after the previous teams players all went to FA and they had less than 3 players left), and unfortunately means you'll move down a draft spot.

Tough game for me, was surprised to win by 20 but the tactics worked in my favour. Happy with 2-2 vs the top 4 of the other conference, now some easy games for a change!

Does that mean that even if I had the worst record, I still won't get the top pick. Maybe 2nd pick?

Correct. If you finish with worst record you'll pick 2nd instead. Finish 2nd worst you'll pick 3rd, etc...What I don't know is whether it affects the 2nd and 3rd round picks also.

The manual says: "Teams with the worst records will have the highest draft picks, so scouting is most important for teams that are at the bottom of the league. But, watch out for forfeits because each one means dropping a place in the pick order."

I'd guess 2nd and 3rd rounds are also affected?
