Thank you for information Pihija, I need to update S5 transfer post a bit later, even though the character limitation has already been reached (so I'm not sure how to handle that, but we'll see). However, I'm just happy I don't have to try to pronounce those names, I might sound bit silly... ;)

Those who have not yet added Playoff-section to their Season 6 box score posts, please do it. As usual, you can copy paste it from my box score post, which for your convenience is also copied below:

HGL Season 6 Playoffs:

Playoffs (PO) match days for Season 6 of HGL:
(For Playoffs: home team name bolded; home team responsible for sending match challenge)


PO Round 1 (teams ranked 5-12th; 8 teams play) Sunday, October 4th, 2026
PO Round 2 (Quarterfinals; 8 teams play) Sunday, Oct 11th, 2026
PO Round 3 (Semifinals; 4 teams play) Sunday, Oct 18th, 2026
PO Round 4 (Final and Bronze match; 4 teams play): Sunday, Oct 25th, 2026

Abbreviations used for Playoffs scores:
AQR2 =Automatically Qualified to Round 2 of Playoffs
(used by Top 4 teams of RS, on PO Round 1)

NQP=Not Qualified to PO
(teams ranked 13-17th in RS, didn't qualify for PO)

*DNP*=Did Not Play (on this Round)




@all:

Somehow I had managed to enter Season 5 Playoff days to my box score post.

This unfortunately requires that if you have copied Season 6 Playoff schedule from my box score post earlier (as far as Playoffs are concerned), then it will be necessary to copy-paste Playoff section of it again to your own teams' box score post (because it had wrong days in it as far as Playoffs are concerned). Now it has been updated to have correct days in it.

You can see it also copied above, so you don't have to search for my teams' box score post in order to copy it to yours.

Sorry for the mistake. The next round is on me (sending everyone a bottle of BB beer, that GM-LennuK. apparently launched;).

Trailblazer (BC Rajaleidjad) hasn't log in after August 7th, so he hasn't corrected his RS Round 5 link.

Other than that, things should be correct, and therefore good to go for Season 6.

Forum has gone silent, so I take it that nobody has clicked through those schedule post links (?), for re-checking purposes.
Like I mentioned, in addition to myself, VR75 ("SAN") went through all teams box score posts, to scan for possible errors. This I believe will already create a strong enough "safety net".
However, the only possible risk (what becomes to schedule being 100% correct) is my possible errors when copying those match numbers to correct matches, as all matches were played at the correct time (so that's not the issue this time around).

Also, no comments on "team in spotlight"-suggestion, so I take it that it won't happen/start at least on RS Round 1.

Same goes with writing a Season 6 preview, so I take that also as a no (even though we'd have still bit more than a day for that, if someone would be interested in partaking this task?).

Roster update: I have cut new draftee Robertas Našatopovas (55897577) and also last season's Damijonas Frainas (55619380) and I will soon sell a new draftee Gabrielis Kaulėnas (55897609). My new draftee Saulius Daugaravičius (55897590) remains, for the time being. Getting back Benjaminas Us I've already declared earlier.

These messages and questions were not only for you, so you're not "responsible" for keeping conversation flowing.

I hope many managers would become active on HGL threads, but I understand that's not for all, and all don't have time nor energy for it. It's ok. It is what it is. But of course it's good if we get more activity.

Only why I hope it is that I think it would make our community more vibrant, lively, makes it feel more like open but simultaneously tight knit community (where everyone participates), and maybe makes it more interesting read when many people write.

Anyway, hope you'll be better soon.

Hello !

Today's the great beginning of a new season where I face an everest, VPO !
Last season, I was 4 pts behind, and I wonder if I'll be able to do better today...
My team is not progressing any more, but does not regressing also.
I've had some bad moments in French League 2 last season, but I was able to stay. Hopefully, HGL is much more stable, and I hope this season, I'll still succeed in winning 10 games (or more) and reach Playoffs. Unluckily, every other teams expect the same, so I'm very afraid that the games will be more and more tight, and I could finish with a lesser record than ever...

If you meant with HGL being much more stable that no such unexpected exits by some teams with no communication exist, that's what I hope too.

I'm in the same boat with you partly - I actually went down in top8-salaries (now $345772), so there's a fair possibility that my streak of continuously being able to enter Playoffs in HGL since the very beginning, the streak that ended on last Season for the first time ever, will not be corrected on Season 6 either..

That said, I still don't have Season 6 salary values available. It remains a question if GM-LennuK. will do them, or shall I count them. We'll see about that quite soon I suppose. I mentioned to GM-LennuK. earlier, that there is not such a rush to count them, if time isn't optimal for him for that project (should he be willing to count those once again).
