Here is the thread for the prediction contest!
First of all we need to setup some ground rules and if anyone has any suggestions for any rule changes, let me know:
1. The contest is about prediction who will win the gameweek, Red side or Blue Side. If that is rightly predicted, then that is 5pts. The second thing we predict is the score of the games, ie. this week it was Red win, 6-2 score! If both were correctly predicted, then 15 pts will be awarded, which means that if the score was predicted but not the right side (Highly unlikely, but possible) 10 pts will be awarded.
2. The side with the HCA will recieve a 20pt loss each week in points. Thats across all home teams, and not just each game.
3. If the games are tied 4-4, then it will come down to points! This is where the 20pt comes in handy! So reds, battle for every point!!
4. This is just for a bit of fun, and to get a bit of competition between sides, there is no prize..

Cant think of any more rules, but if i have missed something let me know..

i have a suggestion

- what do you think about just awarding the bonus points for the number of wins, provided it is on the correct side?
im not sure but would that make more sense than rewarding it if it comes in either way?

SO the options would be red 4,5,6,7,8 wins or blue 4,5,6,7,8 wins. where the 4's are a draw, but the tie is solved with daddy dogs 20pt rules.

guessing correct colour is 5pts and guessing right number is a bonus 10 points :)

now i had better work out whats what!
oh by the way i predicted the right number of teams left in the cup last week, do i get a bonus 100?

Well i'll get the ball rolling with my prediction for saturdays games:
Red Win, 5 games to 3 games

I am going for a 4 all draw with reds to take it on points.

blues win easy 5-3. id go for higher but i think los mongitos will lose ;o)

I think the reds can sneak a 4-4 but will go down on points aggregate.

I'm going 5 - 3 blue win

reds getting pounded at the moment! 2-6

Damn if only i had faith in los orangitos winning id have got that bet...
