Any upsets in the first round?

Miquititos-Symphonics will be a comfortable win with a TIE for Los M's.

After that it gets a bit tougher.

Warriors at home are a strong favourite against DSA, the question is will they go with a TIE, given DSA's enthusiasm can't be massive after a crunch time 2 games ago? Maybe Fluff will take the pragmatic view that some gate money is all he'll get out of Los M's on the road in the finals, so he mights as well go PCT.

The Red side projects to be closer.

Wrose beat J Dogs by 9 at home and lost by 13 on the road, both games effort being equal, so there's a fairly clear form guide. Has Daddy Dog built up enough enthusiasm and game shape to overturn the 9 points? He won't have to guess how Wrose are going to play at least, they just come at you with their big men...

Erks at Fusio, Fusio won at home by 20 early on in the season with Erks TIE'ing and then lost the return by 13 with equal effort.

That suggests there's not that much between the teams, so a TIE would be a huge risk. The bottom line unfortunately is that home advantage should be sufficient, as it has been for the past 3 years in the playoffs, but last year's conference finals went to overtime and this game could well be equally close.

Conference finals

Fusio and Wrose warriors
Mikitos and ????

Warriors and Club Deportivo will be an interesting game

Hopefully home advantage will keep me up this year, a tough set of games against millwall.

If I was predicting, I think J Dogs can beat Wrose and it will be Mikitos & Warriors.

i suspected i would win given dsa CT recently, but i also know mikitos will have a higher enthuse, HCA, and players £100ks of higher salary.
i just wanted to guarantee a spot with mikichitos and hopefully a decent share of gate revenue, so i didnt think a normal was worth risking ;o)

Good luck to all left in, 4 straight playoff eliminations by Fusio, I feel like the 1990 Chicago Bulls to his Pistons....

I think I'm clutching at straws there, but I dare to dream....

If anybody is Jordan in this Division it's Dean Ellsworth anyway.

sorry bout that Erkboy - our teams are really well matched but it just shows that the standard is high - I like Ellsworth and he shows that hard work in training up a draftee really can produce a quality player. good luck for next season!

Wow! nice first post Erkboy! A lovely analysis of every game!
I feel its hard to look past Mikitos in these play offs! Me and Fusio whoever gets through will have a tough time at whichever team we play... but we'll give it a good go!!
But who do you think will come down from EBBL? Hopefully its not someone as strong as mikitos! He is by far the best D2 team at the moment and deserves to be in the EBBL....
