Season 30 was a season of shifts with dramatic upsets; strong teams crashed out, a retirement at the end by The White Tigers one of the more longstanding dominant teams, a newly promoted team was crowned champions taking the league title in impressive fashion, a desired reshuffle from the Tallfella's over the course of the season ended his dominance over the league but won him the cup and the furious competition in the season lead to changes in table position on both sides of the division up to the final buzzer of the final game.

All in the EBBL extend a welcome to the newly promoted teams, congratulations, however we do warn you, it will be a rough ride; welcomes in the EBBL are fast becoming a brutal experience and there is very little mercy left in the top league anymore. Do not expect an easy start, the real game begins now.

What will season 31 hold?

Will Galaxy continue to hold a fine lead over the rest or will the rest close the gap?
Will the Tallfella's retake the title?
Will a team rise from the newly promoted ranks and swing an axe at the established teams?
Will we see a red champion?

All will be revealed in the coming months. As is tradition, feel free to vote for the team you feel is most likely to end this season champions. Apologies if your team name does not appear on the list, there are only 10 choices in a poll so they are chosen by performance last season, and salary investment and overall team condition at the start of this season.

I wish you all the best of luck!

Interesting to see the new teams in my conference. I've played both Gauson and Halucagenic in Dii.2 and I I was in D3 with new jersey2 a long, long time ago.

Will Galaxy continue to hold a fine lead over the rest or will the rest close the gap?

Its hard to come up with a clear favourite this season, but they have to be respected as Champions.
Will the Tallfella's retake the title?

Definitely if we all underestimate him just because he's missed out once.
Will a team rise from the newly promoted ranks and swing an axe at the established teams?

Not so much an axe as a thunderbolt?
Will we see a red champion?

If someone from the red side shows ambition I think this is a possibility.

I can't see this season being quite as exciting for everyone as the last one was. My jump from relegation favourite to play off outsider was my personal favourite moment. While I've voted for my own team, I think I start the season as one of those teams in the middle of the championship race, and have it all to prove.

The blue side remains the home of the championship favourites, all the big boys are there. Even with the demise of the White Tigers, the only team in the EBBL training players, the conference remains stronger. Its for those of us in England's fifth division 2 to prove we belong here.

Even with the demise of the White Tigers, the only team in the EBBL training players,

Sorry mate. It was muse who originally said he was the only person training players in the EBBL. I was being sarcastic in repeating the remark. I know a few people were training players last season, myself included. I'm also well aware of your outstanding record in producing NT players, Madelin has been a favourite of mine while I've been NT coach.

You should be proud. You have a consistent record of producing top players. And you've been in the top division for a long time, proving you can train at the top level, and after only one season in division one I think I can say its a success just staying there for so long.

Out of curiosity... I'm checking the draft picks. How did Lithuania picked on 3rd place with 0 victories??
It looks like MDog even took the 18MVP out of him.

Not talking about justice or anything, me myself I didn't put money on the draft.

Lithuania gave up two walkovers, each one knocked him down a place in the draft.

For the record, I was training players out of position last season for much of the season and will be again this season. Albeit, they're not that much out of position, but it's still less than optimal!

Good luck everyone. Last season was fantastic, let's hope this season is a battle too.

I look forward to defending the cup. Grrr, get your hands off my trophy.
