Arab, Gwent, JA Miami (had to win), Trix (had to win), Gwent (had to win) again...It's been a tough road recently but somehow I've made the finals! :D Feels like this must've been the hard bit but we'll see.
The Trix game was the hardest of the last 3, which I always thought it would be. Home advantage + me playing Look Inside won it for me I think. LI vs LI and it'd have been very close (with the 2 bigs in great game shape and the outside players not, I was really surprised I wasn't facing an inside attack). I did enjoy Angold vs Kasperczyk's in their "who can shoot the worst" minigame.
Given how close I got to winning the regular season game vs Gwent with less effort (and Sousa in the starting lineup) I knew with a crunch I was favourites. Wasn't easy still, Hanguo super impressive considering my best outside defender was on him and that's a lot of rebounds for the 2 bigs. Made all their free throws too :) That formula will win games. Kasperczyk found his shooting...(boots? gloves? hands? nothing works here) for once for me but it was mostly an all round team effort. Every player got a point. I know Mandujano was in bad GS but 6-27 with only 4 assists? Now I'm doubting his skills/build.
Idk...well played everyone, it's not been easy. I'll do it for red ;)
Made the finals in my Utopia league as well, I'm definitely the underdog there though...arghh the pressure.
