When do you guys typically stop investing into the draft and stop spending on scouting points/save for next season's draft? I'm asking in general but also for my specific situation. I've been using the 2points/week for 10K for efficiency. I've only managed to actually scout 4 players (+ scouting combine):

1. 18 yo SG, A rating, 4 ball potential
2. 18 yo SG, A+ rating, 3 ball potential
18 yo PG, A- rating, 2 ball potential (dropped this guy way down the list)
Un-interviewed 4 star rating 18 yo PF (3rd ranking for now)

Should get my 1st preference, I'm 8/9 in the order, with 3 bot teams, couple fairly inactive teams ahead of me.

Should I just call it good for this season? Draft seems decent enough, it's generally a crapshoot anyway or so I've heard.

I tried to save points until I get more than 100 to unlock all the skills, scouting combine and group demostration. After that you get about 30 points to scout and interview the players I prefer for his skills, age and height. This tactic is very useful to make sure I get the best kind of player I need. To do this tactic, it's better to be the first or second team to choose. To get more than 100 points you need to save points for some seasons.
