Frankly I am appalled that with the NT having achieved its greatest success, we are now risking that by one of EBBL managers insisting that all the good reasons behind us all agreeing not to run for the NT while in the EBBL no longer apply.

Then I thought to myself, am I behind the times here, a lot of the fake rivalry banter has gone and we all get along a lot better these days - do we mind one of us being to see all the English players the rest of us are experimenting with?

Then I remembered as a supporter, I could post a poll and see what you all think. So here it is...

I'm not sure, I largely do not care about this, but I recognise I might think differently if I owned Innes and MacAusland in their prime.

Let's be practical here. What is the alternative? Do we have another candidate who fits more of the criteria?

Also how big of an advantage is to run the NT (yes you see skills, but the scouts/assistants do too), the important thing to me is that the NT staff communicate properly and well in advance to the community, if players on the NT radar are expected to come to the market based on conversation with the owners. Maybe the solution is to have proper scrutiny by other managers?

So far, we seem pretty split.

Those who haven't voted yet, please do. Your opinion is important.

Is there anything anyone wants to discuss? The NT is most successful when we're all on board behind the manager. I've long thought we should all have at least one NT player each or be training them up if we want to have a successful NT an I think Woody's tenure showed what is possible and what we should aspire to.

I'm not sure how we ended up with 17 votes but it seems we are all ok with one of us being NT manager.

C'mon, who voted twice? And how????

I probably voted the third option, but I would vote no now.

I voted. As with all things I consider my opinion important.

I think anyone can vote. They just need to land on the thread's page.
