Does anyone know how the rivalries are calculated actually?
Closest games from previous season I think

Not sure I've even had two overtime games in a row but certainly didn't want to start the season that way. Could have lingering game shape issues for weeks.

That's very unlucky! It has never happened to me after all these seasons!

(106781253) first game of the season. Thankfully I had scheduled the firing squad for Sunday, so I still had enough players for the other 2 games.

Ridiculous game anyway: first they get level in regulation with a handful of seconds remaining. Then in the 1st OT I'm down 2, I foul, they split FTs and I hit a 3 pointer with 2 seconds remaining to force the 2nd OT. In the 2nd OT I'm 5 down with 15 seconds to go I hit a 3 pointer, foul for split FTs and hit another 3 pointer to force the 3rd OT. Never seen fouling work that well.

That's a bad first day.

I was quite lucky in the second game, both games played the bench in overtime.

Am I the only one that finds it mildly exploitative to buy HoF's at the draft, not train them, hike the price over a hundred-fold and then sell them to players that are too new to realise they are getting used?

No, but it's part of the game, so if someone wants to go that route, I just try that much harder to beat them anyway.

Speaking about trading more generally, I think a lot of traders often confuse transfer profits with the value of wins to attendence and long term cash flow. You get some players who are adept traders and very good tactically and they are difficult to beat. But not impossible.

Well you have to admit it's even dumber if you lose money instead of making money with daytrading. So far he's spent around 500k for those draftees and made back ca 300k. In most cases he paid more than the TPE and the players will be worth less and less than the TPE as the time passes and they are not trained. Whether he makes a profit or not hinges on the chance someone will overpay on another draftee.

In any case what did you expect on someone who has a super short rotation with 200k salary players and has a lvl 1 doctor? That's like going all-in with jack-high.

Can't speak for everyone but I find it a lot more than just mildly exploitative. Not really sure how well it works any more though. There's not that many neophytes around who are as easy to exploit as in the past and the taxes are a handicap too.
