I tried to find the answer to this question, so I apologize if its widely discussed somewhere.
Does game shape affect training speed/efficiency at all? Does game shape affect a player's long term development in any way?
IE. I have an 18 year old who really only needs 48 training minutes during the scrim, but if I don't find him the extra 15-20 minutes a week for optimal GS, does that have any long term negative impact on him or the training speed?
Or, is GS purely a gameplay modifier used for the player's performance that week?
