Thanks all, I definitely expected to be playing again on Sunday at best, but the lads did it despite a bit of an experimental lineup/tactic. I gambled on not training game shape and it paid off, ended up with better GS than the previous week anyway. I only lost 4 games all season, including scrimmages - pretty crazy. Only a 400k prize though? Pfft. Was it really worth it?
Congrats on your season jorberoin, & the consistency of 3 finals in a row is impressive. Your team is still young in BB terms as well, good chance of going 1 better at some point. Game 1 was definitely a challenge working out my defence.
Moving onto the draft - it looks like we had 4 HOFers, 1 went to bot LIDL (of course), and the other 3 went in round 3 of the draft - what a shameful lack of scouting from the EBBL :D Also see: the very last "pick" of the draft Jeffrey McAvoy who came to me - a 60 tsp 18y old superstar. Can't have been many better players out there. A superstar is tricky though...I imagine I'm more likely to sell than keep but I'm unsure what kind of market they have so possibly the wrong choice? We'll see in the next week what I do...
