Japan managed to beat the Philippines to reach the next stage and got Indonesia eliminated. We faced (and beat) Japan in a difficult game.

Next is Thailand, they already destroyed us during the first group stage (-25) and they just won over China! It might be their best result ever and shows that they are really ahead of us this season. More important for them, beating China put them in a situation where they have a fair chance to bring a medal.

You may win against Japan. Our game will be a close one but I aim to let Malaysia U21 leave with the win in the end. Thailand, Taiwan and China seem much better than Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. I would be quite surprised to see another upset.

I might have to agree to that with them having one man out and CTing the Philippines. But even then it feels like a pretty long shot xD well, here goes nothing I guess.

With Thailand being that good this season, we couldn't do better. They managed to beat China and Taiwan! It will be their first ever medal and they even have a legitimate chance to make it to the finals.

As for next season, we will have a very defensive minded team. Wilson bin Junian, Ariel Chooi, Somboon Thanarat and Joe Katem will be our main guys. The results will depend a lot on which teams we're going to face but I believe our U21 team will be competitive.

For future NT prospect among our 21yo, Peter Joseph should make it relatively soon and Jonathan Victor may follow him a bit later.
