Season 61 Pilipinas Panthers HC elections underway
Like the 2022 Presidential elections, ten candidates cast their intent to run for the top head coaching job in the Senior division.
Incumbent HC Raddy is the favorite the win this cycle, though jolli-bee head coach venomviper has something to say about that. "Ako. Gusto ko rin humawak ng NT at ipakita ang galing ng Pinoy", said the mercurial coach when asked to comment on how he intends to run the team.
There are a lot of questions that have to be answered this season, as veterans Peter Heyrosa, James Mabaquiao, and Jeffrey Fresnillo are now 34 years old. Add to that, four other players are either 32 or 31 years old.
"The 1998 Chicago Bulls managed to win a championship with an average age of 31.7 years, who knows what we can do with this team", said the team spokesperson. "We look forward to having everyone back, but if you think about it, there are up and coming younger talents being groomed by the local and foreign GMs. Let's see what happens."
