Anyone has any grasp on how merchandise work? For me it works in completely opposite way of logic...

IV Utopia league for last 6 weeks: 54k every week

After win in finals , promotion and first win in III league, i get 45k.

League average is 51k.

Didn't buy or sell a player for half a year now. The only thing I did was fire two rookies.
What the heck is going on? Explanation appreciated!

if you players hav played in all-star game or/and stat leaders in your league, you get a boost, with beginning of new season that boost expires. That is at least What I know.

Mind sharing your breakdown of last season and this season? You shouldn't be comparing "merchandise sales", but rather see if you have differences in team sales and jersey sales.

As mentioned by the user above, all-star gives a small bonus in jersey sales (tho it's so small it's quite often negligible unless you have like a whole lineup of All-stars). Jersey sales are also reliant on leaderboards. So if you were owning the division last season and your player's were putting up high stats, it could be that they aren't performing so well this season due to facing better opponents. It's pretty common. Last season in Div I my top player was just earning 30% of his salary in jersey sales. I got relegated and I set my tactics in a way that he can stat pad, and he's now earning over 50% his salary in jersey sales.

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. I'll keep an eye on it from now on.

I can't find anything in last season that mattered. The problem is the 10k drop came after first game of the new season, which was a win for me. I mean, after handily winning the playoffs, one would expect at least same money from merchandise in a higher league. It's true however I reached D.III for 2nd time in three seasons (I relegated two seasons ago).

Like I said, we don't have the split figures from last season. For all you know your team sales did go up, but it might be your player's stats that made the difference, or all star appearances.

I don't know if all-star bonus differs by division, but if they're all the same, then 1 all-star starter should have 3000, so with 2 starters last season, you're already 6k worse off. I'm not sure how much a sub earns tho, apparently it's less. Take that away the 10k drop isn't too big actually.

In the end, without the breakdown of numbers, you won't know if there was actually a drop or raise due to promotion. But I would still say it's due to jersey sales, which actually makes up of the bulk of your merchandise but is affected by your player's numbers instead of promotion/relegation.
