CHICAGO (AP) - Honge Lide, 32, has been reported missing according to an unnamed source close to the Lethargy.
Hong, a one-time fan favorite, was involved in a slew of well-documented, extremely bizarre incidents at the start of the current season and was subsequently urged to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Hong refused however, and in a self-described act of "defiance" [according to Hong] elected to change his jersey number from #1 to #98. He also began wearing a pair of oversized novelty sunglasses at night. When asked why he responded that it was in order to "see the light that shines in front of me".
Hong hadn't played in a single game this season and his future appeared to be in doubt prior to the disappearance. He is one of only 4 original members of the Lethargy still remaining from the team that inherited 14 losses in Season 6.
