In the most dominating season of Canadas NT history, Mod-Bballin has finally led his troops to Americas GLORY. That's right. Canada has finally overcome that semifinal curse and not only made it to the finals(which includes a direct bid into the worlds), but WON the finals over arch rivals USA to become the Champions of the Americas Tournament and the undisputed #1 team in Americas. It is Canadas first Gold trophy at both the U21 and NT level which You can view in the trophy cabinet.

Canada dismantled Chile in the seminfinals, 111-78, led by Laurent and Stronks and then took powerhouse team, USA, to school in a 112-82 victory with Collin, Kearns and Stronks leading the way. Canada has now won the last two competitive games against the USA.

Mod-Bballin on the win, "It feels good to finally break through and win an Americas gold. The team really came together behind the support of the fans and everything just came together at the right time. The win has also moved us to #7 in the world, which is good to see and we are excited about the worlds next season. Hoping to make a little noise, move up that rankings list a bit and make Canada a team to be feared internationally, not just continentally."

Canadas quest for Worlds Gold begins in 4 weeks time, get Your popcorn ready.

Thanks to everyone who helped and supported the team throughout the season, thank You to Mr.Burns who owned and maintained 4 NT players in quality gameshape all season long(Lavigne, Kearns, Jutras, Lachance) all 4 of which played in both the Seminfinals and Finals!

The MVP of the season is easily Diant Stronks who had 240 points, 67 Assists and 41 Rebounds this season. Breaking the single season assists record and setting the 2nd highest single season points record. The first 200 point season since Jabir Issa in Season 14.

Onwards Canada!

Congratulations! Here's wishing you success with Worlds this season! I definitely will be watching (and just maybe helping a little bit).
