I'll be in the HGL next season too

I'm sure I'm the most hated team in HGL history; sorry for everything.

i will be in for season 7

I hope you’ll find the good way quickly, take care of yourself Wagner

Thank you WiMaOl for your words, I really hope that too...

Like you all see, I have not had time even to update league tables recently, nor update participating teams post or salaries/ages to participating teams posts, nor transfers post, nor be active in forum, and not been logged in very often altogether. It's a real hassle at the moment IRL.

I'll try to find opportunity to update league tables today/tomorrow after round that's played today.

League tables updated after RS Round 10.

As far as this RS updates are concerned, I understood that GM-LennuK might be willing to help in terms of league table updates, so that you all could get them sooner, as my RL challenges might continue for undefined time so to speak.

I will also keep on updating official league tables throughout the Regular Season, but like we saw, GM-LennuK published perfectly correct league tables after RS Round 9, so you may just as well refer to league tables published by him for now, as those tables might be released with a quicker release schedule than what I'd be realistically capable of at the moment.

It's a new Season, and theme continues:
loads of crushing victories, and some interesting scores as well. Especially in terms of box scores being very uneven on some parts, but not only favoring one team, as an example in VDT-BCR: (139848432).

Here are couple of observations from RS Rounds 8-10:
- as mentioned, loads of dominating victories. Only 1, 1 and 2 games per Round on recent 3 RS Rounds ended to 1 digit difference, so 23 our of 27 games ended with double digit difference - that's a lot in my opinion.

- LGM continues their strong Season, now 4th in league table (lost to KKS) at 8 wins and only 2 losses; best start of all times for LGM?

- while RAJ won EOS, then had a hard last 2 matches, first losing by 1 to their important competitor LMS, and then also KKS was able to outperform RAJ by 5. Still RAJ is solid 5th in league table at 7-2 (but I didn't compare them to other 7-2 teams here). In terms of match importance (teams fighting for same positions at the top end of the table) and being so even, this RAJ-LMS was one of the all time HGL Regular Season classics.

- similarly to RAJ, VIV had great start at 7W-1L, but now lost two in a row dropping them to (still strong) 7W-3L

- ALA was able to get their first ever win in HGL against HGK (congratulations!), but then also dropped to one of the biggest losses in HGL history (or am I mistaken? I don't have stats here, but I can't recall many as big differences) when LMS dropped 153 points against them on Round 10 and won by 80.

- first ever HGL meeting between Spanish sides ended at 45 point victory of MAD when they met SAN. SAN has had a challenging start (1W-9L and -340 points) in HGL, as has been the case on so many Seasons with so many teams on the lower end of top8-salary spectrum. Same goes with MLS (currently at 0W-10L), as teams operating with higher budgets have been merciless to them. Of course ALA-MLS on September 18th will be one of the matches of interest for the rest of the RS, especially for these two sides.

Any thoughts on last 3 Rounds, anyone? (I know some of you guys have already commented on results, thank you for keeping forum active)!

List of participating and undecided teams to HGL Season 7 has been updated, here: (332267.121).

***
@ those 4 teams who are still undecided:
please aim to inform me/us of your interest to continue playing on HGL Season 7 in about a week if possible, so on 14th of September at the latest.
You will not lose your place yet on Season 7 if you don't let me know by then, but it would be good to get things decided ahead of time for once.

***

Only 4 "unclaimed" spots available currently as 14 out of 18 have already committed to Season 7, so let's see whether or not the rest of the pack (4 teams) will also announce their interest or not.

Even if they would, it's good idea to play HGL-PL on this Season 6 as well, because there could always be surprising withdrawals and/or dismissal of teams due to rules violations or becoming non-communicative towards HGL.

@ teams currently not playing in HGL, but interested in playing in HGL on Season 7 (which is played during next BB season, and preparations for Season 7 will be started already during this BB season by all participating managers):
For your convenience, I repeat here below what I wrote in my above linked post; of course if your team is already listed on HGL-PL post as interested team, you don't need to contact me again by September 28th, 2026.

For teams that are currently not playing in HGL, it could be suitable to deadline to inform me by September 28, 2026, if you want to participate to HGL-PL (so that you could be chosen to play in HGL next Season).
More information about HGL-PL will be updated to this (332267.19) and 4 following posts.

BBMails/reminders about HGL participation on Season 7 have been sent to ALA, LGM, VDT and MLS.
List of participating teams will now be kept here: (332267.121).

As well as BBMail reminders on possible HGL-PL participation on Season 6 to Tassie Devils, borteam and one new-to-HGL-PL team, Calatrava (from Spain). So potentially we may have as many as 5-6 teams participating to HGL-PL, however, with one huge favorite to win it all, as Svätý Jur Snakers have been announced of their willingness to participate as well.

List of participating HGL-PL teams on Season 6 will be kept here: (332267.19).

EDIT: also one almost-HG team has been sent BBMail about future interest to participate to HGL-PL(/HGL).

League tables updated after 12 RS Rounds.

Round 11 offered us two especially interesting matches for different reasons:
-EOS-LMS 117-129, a battle of 2 giants - and neighbours - ended with LMS win this time around. In my papers, these are very hard matches to predict, as both have enough quality to lend us others (and still be competitive!)

- HGK-BCR 112-116 proved to be one of those nitro games, in where HGK was handed a 7th straight loss, and BCR was able to climb to 3wins-8losses, leaving HGK at 2W-9L after 11 Rounds.

Round 12 on the other hand, had almost as many tight/remarkable games as we've had for the whole Season so far:

- I believe FRE took 1st ever win over BCR (?), by 5 points. BCR again dominant on rebounds (+21), but not efficient behind the arc (1/14 3p) and very sloppy ball handling (19TO) caused a loss against FRE.

- EOS-KKS 148-144 (2 OT!) became one of the all time HGL RS classics, being so close fought and important match between couple of powerhouses of HGL, after 2 overtimes fought and probably one of the biggest, if not the biggest, total points dropped in one HGL match (?), 292 points!

- VDT-WMO 130-128, a 2 point win in this French classic where both teams were 7W-4L before match, brought VDT one win advantage currently in league table over WMO

- RAJ-VIV 98-87, an important match where teams at 8W-3L faced each other, and RAJ once again showed why his team has been so successful in HGL

- LGM-ED 97-103, another French classic for R12, in where very strong performer on Season 6, LGM, was dropped to 8W-4L and ED is now at 7W-5L, so at similar record with WMO, and just an inch away from "local competitors" LGM and VDT (both of them at 8W-4L)

- SAN-MLS 91-89, a first ever meeting of new-to-HGL teams, and what a hard fought battle it proved to be. Tied after 3rd, SAN was able to win 4th by 2 and now giving them 2nd win of the Season 6. SAN was able to shoot 5/15 (33,3%) behind 3p line despite using drive to the basket-strategy, and acquiring 9 more offensive rebounds than MLS, so while SAN left more points to the free throw line, it was enough to get the win, that took them only 1 win apart from the 13th place on the league table.
