Hi,
I’m glad to see that after being absent for such a long time, you’re now extremely active again.
When I first started using the new website, I honestly felt like I was too old to learn new things. For something as simple as setting a lineup, you had implemented the most complicated way possible. However, I noticed that you were really committed to fixing the problems and that you kept trying to make changes and improve the final version of the site. Although, personally, I have no interest in dealing with the beta version and I’ll just wait for the final result.
But throughout all this time, the bigger issue, much more important than the appearance of the website, has been the lack of real variety in the use of tactics and defenses, and how ineffective many of them have become.
Changing the salary formula was not a real solution to the problem, but it was at least a temporary painkiller, and it made relying on this repetitive outside-defense rhythm more expensive.
Now are we going back to how things were before?
I don’t want you to take this personally or get upset with me, but someone whose major decisions can’t even remain consistent for a few weeks is not really suited to managing a game.
The fact that you bought this game because of your passion for it and the memories you had from your childhood was a nice thing to hear. But I’m afraid you might end up being the one who kills it with your own hands.
If no decision is made to fix the way tactics and defenses are actually used, if shot blocking remains this cheap, if outside defense continues to be disproportionately powerful, and if the new website keeps making the simplest tasks unnecessarily complicated, then this game is going to die very soon.
