Going into the final two round of the regular season, I had matches against teams one position above (WAG) and below (LGM) us in the table respectively. So the pressure was present to win both of these matches to stay above them at the end. With some luck it actually worked.

RS Round 16:
Friday, March 13th, 2026

Against LGM I was able to predict their offence perfectly, which helped our defense tremendously. We dominated in rebounds, while other stats weren't too different for both teams. Going into the final quarter, both teams were even, while we were able to push for a slight lead at the beginning of the quarter that we were able to hold until the end. Good game, Coach Fax and until next season!

RS Round 17:

Against WAG, I was able to predict their outside offence focus, which probably give me the edge in the end and secured my victory. We were somewhat better in shooting from the field in general compared to Wagner's team, yet they had the upper hand in rebounds. Thanks to my furious +19 scoring first quarter, I was able to start the game with a solid lead that then shrunk during the game, yet we were able to keep hold of it. Good thing for me basketball only has 4 quarters Good game Wagner and good luck in our PO match on Sunday!

My goal is to publish full Regular Season HGL Team Stats (after 17 Rounds of play) before First Round of Playoffs will be under way, so stay tuned - those could help everyone in trying to find an edge over your opponent!

(I will surely need all the edge I can get on an away court - too bad LennuK. is into stats and understands them very well, so there's no advantage on offer for me here;)

It's been my pleasure compiling these stats and I will be happy to continue to do so for the coming seasons.

Home court certainly gives me a good advantage but knowing your team's strengths and your coaching abilities, it's going to be an interesting and close match nevertheless

So, Wagner, you are also doing the stats for all teams like myself? As I had stated elsewhere, I will be providing the League Leaders before the new season. Top 10 (or 20) players in each category (Pts, reb, ast, stls, blks).

Are we doing the same?

I mean the HGL team stats posts (3 posts, plus legend-post for those posts), so no "new" kind of stats will be published by me.
I meant updating stats to reflect situation after RS (17 Rounds), as now stats have been updated after Round 9.

I sent BBMail to you both now, this match needs to be reorganized as it's played one hour too late.

demars, like I mentioned, please ignore my first "ok, thank you for your message" BBMail which I sent you too quickly without checking your match link first (whether it's correct or not, and it turned out it's not).

Match time is wrong in ED vs MAD, and this match needs to be reorganized, so please act really quickly.

See text in Playoffs post:

"Please note this:
Official match time during Season 4 Playoffs will be your local equivalent of 1.30PM EET (Eastern European Time; Normal Time, not Summer Time)."

Also click links on all other First Round Playoff matches (3 other matches), and you will see that ED vs. MAD is being played at wrong time.

As mentioned, this needs to be fixed as soon as possible, as your current match is not accepted.

In this case either manager can challenge each other, as long as match details (including time and home court advantage) are correct.

As you can see, we are in a rush with reorganizing this match. Let's work to avoid these kind of situations as well as possible. This serves as one of the examples, why we want to avoid having to organize loads and loads/more of Playoff matches (I'm of course referring to the earlier conversation about the HGL league/Playoff-system).

As far as I understood, ED-MAD match has been organized already on Wednesday, but information about it (match specs) were provided to me on Friday afternoon/evening, which I just a while ago received.
Having noticed match details are not correct, it puts us in an undesirable situation where we need to trust that
A) both managers log in before tomorrow to see my note and arrange new match in time
B) I have to login at certain time(s) - which wasn't my plan at this weekend - to see if match has been organized, and add a proper match link to forum.

I understand that it might have been partly caused by time possibly differing from the usual time (mentioned in HGL rules), but as long as managers read my posts, then everybody should know the essentials (such as correct match times).

@all:
If demars and/or Jotadoce use for instance discord (I don't), could you please let them know they need to reorganize this match in time.

Please read my previous post (reply to demars) for more details, as your Playoff-match against ED needs to be reorganized (it is played one hour too late).

I just sent you a short reply on this Official Thread too, so that you'd notice it with bigger probability (as it should add a red number to your left menu bar, indicating that you've received new messages/replies on forum).

I've already resubmitted the request to ED; sorry for the inconvenience.
