Because cap isn't based on total skill points, but on formulas where skills have different value

Mvps can cap at 100 and they can at 140 as well, it all depends on distribution of skills

Hi!
Well I'm not sure your example shows BM is wrong. First, cap is not based on TSP at all but on skill distribution so I don't really get your point. Second, potential has hidden decimals so when you see an MVP it can be a 9.01 potential or a 9.99 potential. The second has more room before reaching the cap, but how would you or BM know that?

If I look at the NT skills requirements for Austrias national team, I have a hard time believing those players are possible when their core skills exceed the cap level for most potential levels including MVP.

But it's not really the case. Fact taht you use it, and that there is no better option doesn't mean taht it is a good tool. I was simply asking if there is an better option, becouse I belive BM is not good any more.

There probably won't be a better tool, as this game has only about 50 users on average per country...

Of course, any even slightly competitive NT is populated by HoFs and AtGs exclusively. MVPs could be useful as specialists, for instance high-SB bigs, but that only shows that cap estimation is based on weights for specific skills, and not TSP. A poorly trained MVP center could very well reach the hard cap by 100-ish TSP - only proving just how poorly developed he was.

Buzzer-manager has been alright for me, although there is a good chance its estimates for MVPs and HoFs is conservative (meaning 99-100% and 100% aren't that accurate and there's still room for pops before the hard cap).



I have been away from the game fpr a few years, but I really can't understand the "new wolrd" ideal/standard for a micronation center is a dude with 150 TSP.

I use it, and always have, and we are lucky to have it. Is it perfect? not by a long shot, the arena suggestions have burned me more than once, but then I also realized I wasnt using it right at one point. Sometimes, its not the tool, but the person using the tool. And you are right, it is all we have, so if you come up with something better, by all means, let us know

https://buzzeriq.com I have Update the salary formula with the new changes. Only 160tsp players are a bit off since I have few data points. Will get better next off seasons.

For the cap, Inhave adjusted it but it will require new data and possibly a new community effort to collect them
