Last night in Boston was not the night the Hendersonville Rebels were hoping for. The Rebels came into last night's playoff game riding a hot streak that included a win over last night's opponent the Fenway Flyers, but the high hopes were quickly and rudely dashed as the Flyers came out throwing haymakers, hitting 7 of their first 10 3-point shots and generally having their way with the stunned H'Ville squad. Giving up bombs was only the begining of the problem for the Rebs, as their top scorers SF Ross Marks, and SG Des Bunn went a combined 0 for 12 on their first dozen shots. Only James The Profitt and Moshe Bigtime Skutt seemed to have brought their A games, but it was nowhere near enough as the Rebels went down ingloriously 118-94 in front of over 20,000 Beantown fans.
