It will not likely be communicated here on this forum Thread though when "HGL-PL participation announcement-time window" will be actually closed, so if you're interested, let me know before it's too late, as it can close any day/week now.

Currently 4 teams (team, manager, team abbreviation and link, top8-salary) have announced their interest to participate to first ever HGL-PL:

- Tassie Devils (Tazdevil); TD (38697) (Top8-salaries $174K)
- San Fernando VR (VR75); SAN (77070) (Top8-salaries $111K without HGL-ineligible player)
- borteam (bort); BOR (46607) (Top8-salaries $108K)
- M.L.S. REICH (impero); MLS (39615) (Top8-salaries $157K)

Note, that you have to have 100% Home-Grown roster when HGL-PL starts, otherwise you can't participate in it.
San Fernando VR has promised to sell/fire their HGL-PL ineligible player, Bolourchian, before HGL-PL starts.

As you can see, there's still plenty of room in HGL-PL for new teams, so please let me know ASAP if you would like to participate in it! There are also no "monster teams" (say, +$500K top8-salaries) this time around, so all "mid-class" home-grown teams might well have a good chance to win the first ever HGL-PL.

@all Home-Grown (HG) managers, that have possible interest towards Home-Grown League (HGL):

HGL-PL interest announcing-window for all teams have now been closed, and Pickup match organizing window/process for first ever HGL-PL (played between July 20th and July 26th, 2026) has been now opened.

Teams are free and welcome to inform me of their interest to play in HGL (and in HGL-PL) in future.
If more interested teams will be present on next BB season, we will play another HGL-PL on HGL Season 6 (BB season 73).

Hi LOPO_, you can add me under the HG teams in this post too. I have been participating in the HGL for a couple of seasons now and I intend to stay HG for the time being. Thanks!

Was going to go HG with my Utopia team... (my main team I'll play at least 2 seasons, as I have money and a not too bad Arena. Then will see if starting as new team, HG)... was thinking of joining a HG league, but as some don't accept it... I'll go with my previous idea: Utopia team will be only Canadians + draftees.

I will almost surely, as stated, in 2-3 seasons close current main team and make a new one, purely HG.

The reasoning: I enjoy HG in other games, that's my go to. As now I have a good situation with my current team, use this two seasons to learn the game better. Then start HG with knowledge. (I had played the game from 2023 to 2025).

The con: why not start now?

So I would like to hear some input/ideas from the buzzer beater HG crowd :-) all input is welcome!
