1st game : Bulgaria (1-0) 75 - 62 Ireland (0-1)

The word of the MVP : Varban Kratunkov (29pts at 50% 9reb 1ast)
"I'm really proud to be the MVP of the first game. As you know, I am the most experienced player in the frontcourt, so I had to take most of the shots as a leader would do.
But I must say that it was a teamwork. Our manager told us to focus defensively on the outside and our backcourt did an outstanding job. The Irish did not score any of their 24 attempts behind the arc... That was even more important than my 29 pts !
We will need to rest a lot, next game might not end that well... But now it's time to celebrate ! Go Bulgaria"

Great first match and great victory! Congratulations for the good tactics and thank you to the Italian manager Kratunkov for creating such the best player for Bulgaria! But as you said, this was a team victory, and as Minkov said, it is largely due to your tactical choice! Greetings!

To be honest, the tactical choice was pretty evident to me but I had no clue if it would work.
I'm glad we won, next two games will be quite impossible to win so it's nice to begin with a victory.

Now I'll focus on the 18-19yo prospects and hope our roster will be in good shape for the next game.
