VILLAINS VS. NEWII: TIME TO SETTLE THE SCORE
Posted on 10/27/2026
QUEEN CITY VILLAINS — SEASON 73 PLAYOFF QUARTERFINALS
The regular season is over. The records are in the books. Now it's win or go home.
Tonight, the #3 Queen City Villains (13–9) head into enemy territory to face the #2 newii (14–8) with a trip to the Big 8 semifinals on the line.
Not long ago, Queen City was fighting just to stay in the playoff picture. Now the Villains enter the postseason riding a three-game winning streak, having outscored their opponents 304–186 over that stretch.
Newii finished one game ahead of Queen City. Their point differentials? +230 and +222.
On paper, there's almost nothing separating these teams.
But paper doesn't win playoff games.
Guido "The Don" do Miño leads the charge. Homer "Havoc" Forbes brings the chaos. "Il Murro" Mazza and Mohsen Koushyar are ready to make the paint a miserable place to visit.
The Villains didn't come this far to celebrate a third-place finish.
One game. One opponent. No second chances.
