Press Announcements

Another day, another dawn

After multiple seasons in which management failed to show signs of life, the time has to come to inform our fanbase about the progress that has been made. The concept of blowing it up and start from scratch again did not really appeal to culture of the franchise. It is hard to create a winning mentality and such a thing cannot come over night. Therefore taking the more popular rout of tanking and taking a gamble at some promising youngsters, whilst maximizing profit due to cost-cutting options, was never going to sit well with the club.

The team seems to be stuck in purgatory, not good enough to win a prize, not bad enough to be forced to change the concept. The last couple of seasons have been difficult on the fans, as the team chose to value growth over actual wins, though still asserting itself to remain competitive. The former rookies are slowly growing into their roles of future cornerstones. This does not mean that every single one of those rookies will become a player of the international level, but they should become household names for true DBA PRO A fanatics.

This team still has a window to be succesfull, but with questions about the age of Bernard van der Linde and Benedito Estoa lingering, management might have to decide to swing for the fences! Not this season though, as the trainees will switch from the outside to the inside. Talentinho GM 3point king asked fans to remain patient as the team will try to load the bases, for that inevitable homerun! There is a glimmer of hope on the horizon!
