I have no problem with the proposed change. I just hope it doesn't make organizing the tournament more difficult for Wagner, who already has a lot of work to do.
It's thanks to Wagner that this tournament is going ahead; he's a great commissioner with a lot of passion.
Thank you for your comments, and being considerate on this! As for changing schedule (by not completely creating new one) shouldn't be loads of work on paper, but I've learned to become cautious on giving comments before actually doing the stuff, only that will eventually tell how much work something creates.
Having said that, as everybody have given either neutral/in favor of change, or in favor of change-opinion on schedule, we can implement that for Season 4 (and then by doing it'll become apparent if it's a breeze to do also for further seasons). :)
I wrote (very) short match reports on Final and Bronze matches on Scores Thread
(328547.154), and I won't repeat the same message here, but want to congratulate all HGL medalists on Season 3!
Results in terms of medal winners were a mirror image of Season 2, so now Svätý Jur Snakers is still first in HGL medal table (with 7 points; 1 gold and 2 silver medals), and Virtus Portici is second with 6 points (2 consecutive championships in as many seasons).
But to not make this a medal only-centered discussion (as there are teams in HGL that aren't yet on the level that's required to reach a medal realistically), it's also worth noting, that KKS also deserves a honorable mention as a Bronze medal runner-up.
Also, I think that while win is something everyone is looking for at the end of the day (or at the end/peak of the many season stretch), we shouldn't forget to set our eyes now and then to many strong "middle ground/level teams" in HGL, who have very strong and respectable teams, even though they'd not currently have a team that can fight for HGL championship.
While this is very apparent, I'll still say this: we all know how difficult it can be to create a successful HG team, and luckily it seems that many of us enjoy the project and participating to HGL even if they would know medal would realistically be out of their reach during next Season.
As I've said many times before, at least for me HGL is much more than just about medals, and very important part is our HGL community. It's about being part of the community, HGL hopefully helping to connect some HG managers meanwhile (or at least serve as a central hub into which everyone can participate as much or as little as they want, in addition to official HGL team duties), growing your HG team withing a supporting community, and getting to compare your current success against other fellow managers. So thank you all HG managers, for being part of HGL story... :)
