Hey folks!

I am a returning owner, came back this January after many years of inactivity. Named my new team after the old one, Boogie Down Generals (29394). I did a search on the old team I had and saw that they still exist! It's managed by a computerized manager and still carry the name, Boogie Down Generals4A6 (29777). I was wondering if it is possible to somehow combine both these franchises into one since I had a hand in creating both. Who do I ask, and can we make this happen?

Definitely! At least as long as no new manager has taken over that team. But I guess at the moment there are a lot of teams that went bot and stayed that way ...

Even if I don't plan to leave the game at the moment, it would definitely be very nice to get back to that franchise if I ever left and wanted to come back!

I would love for this to be a thing.
My old team insane hangtime (https://buzzerbeater.com/team/90343/overview.aspx) also still exists as a bot team.
I would absolutely love to have my old HoF etc on my revamped team.

I'd love to see this happening. but there would be so many problems with it:

should the stadium be reduced back to the starting rotation? What about the bankroll? I left my old team with a bankaccount of 12M.

The other issue being, how would you prove it? You could go with IP adresses, but that would mean you'd automatically disqualify people who have moved since then.

Also, this could be abused to claim old glorious teams.

I like the suggesiton, but you'd need to flesh this idea out to make it fair so that people won't abuse it.

How did you actually find your previous club? Did you happened to know at which point in which league you were or was it just by chance that you found it?

I've been trying to find my old team, but as I don't precisely recall when I was playing before and in which league, I have not been able to find it. Do you have any tips how to find it merely by name, or is it really just going through the league lists and hoping you stumble upon it by chance?
