His profile is already really good for a 20yo and the training plan, which I just received, is promising. The experience gained will be a nice plus for both Bulgaria U21 and NT.


So, we will start the season with 13 instead of 12 players. Considering there are not many other options among the 21yo players, it changes nothing to the initial plan. We will do our best this season but already prepare for the next one.

Next time, I will present our opponents in the first phase of the European Championship Tournament.

Schedule Presentation - U21 European Championship Tournament

It's me again !
Now I will present you our opponents for the first round, from the first game to the last one.
After that there will be a little power rankings based on advanced and really complex datas, aka my humble opinion... :)

Ireland U21 (1044) - WR#48 - No trophies
They are just behind us in the world ranking.
Their coach has been here for the fifth consecutive season now, and we can see he did some good work with training : 5 players are between 30 and 40k of salary. In comparison, we only have one +30k (41k actually for Dilov). On the other hand, they seem to have some troubles with game shape, which makes me wonder if meeting them a bit later wouldn't have been better.
All in all, it will be a very tough first game.

Israel U21 (1015) - WR#5 - Last trophy : Silver Euro S54
A finalist of the last European championship.
They've had a lot of success lately, including a series of 3 consecutives World finals which stopped last season.
It is the first season of their coach, so I cannot say if he will be as successful. Yet, we can see they have an impressive roster with six +30k of salary, including a monster at 69k.
Tough beginning of the season for us.

France U21 (1011) - WR#8 - Last trophy : Bronze Euro S54
A semi-finalist of the last European championship, for the third consecutive time.
Last twelve seasons have been less successful than before, but it is still a strong nation in BB.
Their manager has already coached this team.
Again, their roster seems pretty strong with six +30k of salary, including a center at 63k.
Still no rest for our team...

Latvija U21 (1046) - WR#32 - Last trophy : Bronze Euro S22
Two +40k and two +30k of salary, it is again a strong team, seemingly inside oriented.
Fifth season for their coach, so once again we will face an experienced manager.
Even if this team seems just a bit stronger than ours, they might arrive with full enthusiasm considering they faced some of the weakest teams before. We do not have such an affordable beginning.

Ukraina U21 (1033) - WR#33 - Last trophy : Bronze Euro S36
Again, a manager who knows this team since he coached them in S52-53.
With two +30k salaries, and with the same hard season beginning, I expect our confrontation to be very close.

Shqipëria U21 (1079) - WR#69 - No trophies
Third consecutive season for their manager.
At first sight, their roster seems way lighter than ours, with only two +10k salaries. We have no choice but to win this game.

Cyprus U21 (1077) - WR#71 - No trophies
First mandate for their manager (yayyy just like me !)
A great NT prospect, all-time great of 27k$ salary, and two lieutenants with 13-14k$ salaries. This team also is behind ours. And winning is the only option here.

6- Ukraina
7- Cyprus
8- Shqipëria


As you must have understood, I really don't like our schedule. Beginning the season against the weaker teams would have been great in order to have a higher enthusiasm and hope for better results against stronger teams than ours.
There are only two qualificative spots for the next round and they seem reserved for the two big favorites. We'll do our best to honor this jersey :)

Next meeting : 4.30pm tomorrow for our first game against Ireland. I hope you will all be behind your U21 team, they will need all your support !

I can't say that I will maintain this rythm all season long. But I'll try to write post-analysis of each game and also I'll be available to debate if necessary.
