Delta 9 has started a solid 2-2 in the NBBA. The team has picked up three injuries through 4 games, but only one involves a starting player and he is expected to play in the next game.
Unfortunately,
(13430795) took a nasty fall this week. Initial estimates put the veteran's return date at January 25th vs.
(28668). Plus, he is on the trading block. There is considerable discussion as to whether he should be elected into The Delta 9 Hall of Fame, even though he has only been with the team 5 seasons.
Says team mate

"He's a manimal. Really, I hate to see him go because nobody can block like him. I mean he's the best I've seen."
Managament is said to have said:
"We feel that our Fairy Godmother is watching over us this season. Obviously, our only goal is to avoid relegation: finishing either 4th or 5th would be fantastic as we adjust to the new economy. We couldn't be happier."
