Delta 9 has made an unprecedented and unwitting Cup run this year. They've been very lucky with the schedule, but there's no denying some kind of honor for making the Elite 8. Though they face a tough Div. II team (at a neutral site), they seem to have a decent chance of advancing to the Final Four.

Said management:
"Its exciting. I mean, until last week, we were solely focused on surviving our first season in the NBBA. Now, we are thinking that this may be our only chance to make a mark in the USA Cup. Even winning the whole thing isn't totally out of the question ..."

In response to a query regarding their #2 ranking, Delta 9 officials were said to roll their eyes and walk off the stage. It almost seemed as if they were embarrassed about the high ranking ...
