First and foremost, change was needed but agreeing that change was necessary and agreeing with how those changes have been implemented are two entirely different things, so I do believe there could have been more options to the poll.

The high-IS guards and SB bigs with 3-2 zone meta have become stale with too many teams adopting the same approach, so a revamp to the salary formula was overdue. If the hoarding tax change was given more notice and done gradually over a 3-4 season period, then I think managers would have been a lot happier with the implementation.

However, both changes feel rushed and poorly thought through, without real analysis on the consequence of making those changes, so drastically and immediately. Good intentions don't excuse poor execution and because the way these changes were implemented, I voted that I do not support these policies.

I think you should have created two separated polls. For the moment most people voted for the second answer but you have no way to know if they agree with one change and not the other or if they are opposed to both. So I'm not sure what you could conclude from the results, unless you had something else in mind?

That’s a fair point. I would have to create separate polls for each policy, but unfortunately, the forum only allows one poll per post.

My intention is mainly to get a general sense of whether managers support the overall direction of the recent policy changes, including design, implementation, and timeline. It is not intended to provide a precise breakdown of support for each policy.

However, managers are also welcome to leave comments explaining which policy they support or oppose and why, which should provide additional context to the poll results.

This looks very similar to my Fan Survey conducted by a basic level PR-manager.

This is indeed a very disingenuous poll, not only that but data science says that normally people who are actually in support for something will vote less than those who are vocally against something, so take this poll’s results with a grain of salt
