I posted this on the Discord but figured I'd crosspost here since I don't know where real discussion takes place anymore.

3–2 zone: The planned nerf will not be implemented.


3-2 zone is so OP I haven't run any other defense for multiple seasons, of all the things to roll over on why that?

the salary changes were a bit aggressive, the hoarding tax change was sudden/unfair in a long term planning game, elastic effect is hard for players to understand

but 3-2 zone, here are some stats from the first round of B3:
blowouts
3-2Z: 21 (all wins or mutual where both teams ran 3-2)
2-3Z: 6 (all desperation losses)
M2M: 4
IBox: 1


real games
3-2Z: 23
M2M: 3
OBox: 3
1-3-1: 1
2-3Z: 1
IBox: 1

those are the defensive strategies used, you can't tell me that's healthy.
especially if the salary changes are rolled back, 3-2 is out of control.

Thank you for giving your suggestions in such a clear way. I see it the same way. I don’t understand what is so complicated about it. Furthermore, the distribution you are proposing is exactly what happens when you defend 3-2 zone in real life: except for the one on the top center, the other two have to cover the middle when the ball is on the other side, so they may find themselves occasionally defending inside shots when the ball is moved quickly or when another defender gets beaten

I think 3-2 to be nerfed doesn't need much.

Increase IS salary on guards.

Increase SB salary on defensive players.

Distribute more inside shots against the 3 players defending outside in the 3-2 zone, since almost every inside shot goes against the 2 defenders, this way there would be many more matchups of outside players with low ID having to defend high IS shots.

Thats it, simple.

3-2 zone in general cant be good against LI/LP.
2-3 zone should be great against LI/LP too.

This is where we hold them!

I think not only they would keep the $25M, but extending it to $100M or more going fwd.

ciao. Perchè prima avevate detto che ci sarebbe stata la riduzione da 25 M a 15 M ed ora tutto è cambiato? ci sono manager che hanno speso 10 milioni senza volerlo ed ora avete cambiato idea. Come mai?

I write in English but in Italian you would have understood better: I paid 1.5 M$ and I am loosing tousands $ each week to reduce my money for your crazy hoarding tax, in thread "S73 - BB-Marin Q&A part 2: Hoarding tax and more", BB and GM wrote that "these are rules, so players must find a solution, next season we will tax you", and now you change idea?????? WTF???? Are you kidding me???? It took me YEARS to have good money in bank, you change rules, I change plans and throw away millions $ to follow your crazy ideas, and now you tell me: Sorry, it was a joke?????
Who will give me back years and money spent here in BB???
