Hi guys, so I've been setting my lineups so that my PG has no backup so he can get the full 48 minutes, but the last few games, that position keeps getting subbed out with another player in the last two minutes, despite no foul trouble on anyone, no injuries, and tactics set to follow depth chart.

Any tips or info I'm missing here? Thanks

This also happened to me in my last league game, already a blowout and only had 2 fouls. I placed him as my starter, reserve and backup with only 9 players playing that night and he still got subbed out. Luckily he received 45 minutes and is currently 19 years old but would want to avoid this when he becomes 20.

Although you should probably be aware that the game engine never guarantees 48 mins played just from your lineup.

You can set him as starter, reserve, back-up, lucky fan, bribing awkward family member that forces you to put them on the court, etc. Does not matter. Game engine you will still have the final say.

That being said, your best chance is to have him start and fill also both reserve spots with his name

The best way to do it is leave the starter blank and put the trainee in both backup spots.

Blank/Trainee/Trainee

This has never failed for me. Note if you're facing a walk-over team you'll need to set him as a starter as well.

I noticed the same thing too. I have trainees that I want to get 48 minutes. I set them as backup and reserve. There are no foul trouble but I noticed that they usually only play 47 minutes. And this has happened quite often now. It would seem like they are being deliberately subbed for 1 minute as to not achieve a full training :D
