Future Bleak in New York...errr...Virginia

While all eyes have been focused on the always entertaining and obsessively watched U21 World Championships, the New York Jests stumbling, bumbling and fumbling away the season has mostly flown under the radar.

After making the playoffs in their first season in the NBBA in season 16, season 17 has run hot and cold. But mostly cold. Okay ice cold. While the Great 8 has remained intensely competitive (the Jests would have finished as the #2 seed in the Big 8), the Jests have been fortunate enough to be buffered by tanking team aka teams "Going Postal" in each of the last two seasons. Without those quirky fellows from Ambitious and Misunderstood., with their mysterious period, the team would have been teetering on the brink of auto-relegation.

But for now, the future remains largely in doubt as the Battle for Virginia has swung hugely in the favor of the oppressors from the North, the Reston Thumpers. This Saturday the Jests head over to the home of those adorable animated bunnies and hope to salvage one last shot at avoiding relegating for the first time since their inaugural season.

Your team seems to be going through a sequence of tough breaks. The silver lining is that so far, the bad luck doesn't seem to have carried over to the U21!
