Jests Reach New Lows in Snoozer, Fan Survey Implodes

The national audience was in for a treat Saturday night when the New York Jests took on the Spotted Turtlebacks in a battle described by one fan as "like watching the apes at the zoo sling feces at the glass."

In what we'll generously describe as a defensive struggle, the Jests held the Backs to just 57 points. Unfortunately no one told the Jests that you also have to outscore your opponent, not simply keep them at a low score. Despite the addition of former Deronimo Shooting Guard Tanju Eflatun, the Jests managed to score only 41 points, including a laughable 9 point second quarter that caused TV rating to nose dive so quickly that the impact registered as a small earthquake.

Without bothering to submit the research we believe it is safe to say this is the lowest scoring competitive game in team history and demonstrates just how far they have fallen since their playoff appearance last season.
