Fusio gain revenge over the Power!

Team Fusio received a vitamin boost tonight as they over powered a spirited Vitamin Power team in the National Tournament. All talk before the game was centered around the last meeting between the two clubs when the Power beat Fusio in the Semi final of the cup in season 17. Tonight's game was a very tight affair and it took a crucial last quarter push from Fusio to overturn a 7 point deficit to run out winners by 7 points at 103-96.

Fusio's coach Lambaw said " this ones for the fans who turn out week in week out to support the team. We had a big team performance tonight and are looking forward to the quarters. We still remember the heartbreak around the semi final defeat a few seasons ago but this goes some way to erasing those memories.The team is so much stronger now and we will build on this result going forward."

Fans were clearly ecstatic at the result which has been a nice distraction from the tough season Fusio are undergoing in the EBBL. Will the cup help or hinder Fusios quest to remain in the top flight - only time will tell!
