Fusio make it three!

Team Fusio overcame a stubborn Davids Allstars Team to take their third league victory in a row. The game was exciting to watch with Fusio's experience at the death proving vital in allowing them to put daylight between the teams in the closing minutes. Their were a number of quality performances in particular from Fusio's big men - Veronese who finished with a triple double, Unlu with a double double and Cai with a solid supporting role coming off the bench.

Fusio's coach Lambaw was quoted after the game,

"this has been a fantastic start to this season and has illustrated the desire we have to push for promotion this year. I am really pleased with how the whole team played tonight including our two new signings. This has carried on our good start to the season including a convincing win in the cup"

When pushed on whether Lambaw believes his squad is strong enough to compete at this level he said;

"I am happy with the balance of the team - the younger players are really coming on now and got good court time in our recent cup match.If we were to look at the market we would only be looking at a top end signing but at the moment I am happy to work with the squad in improving their skills".

Fusios next game is away at the Lunar Destroyers so all eyes will be on them to see if they can extend their unbeaten run.
