Tough draw threatens promotion

The tallfellas are unhappy after being scheduled to play two out of three games on the road against the Bing Bong Quarriers in the Playoff Finals.

"Sheesh," said club spokesperson Fanny Speaks. "We pwned them regualr season by seven points, yet they get the HCA. Everything in this league is biased for the Run and Gun teams."

Speaks denied failure to train OD this season could come back to haunt the Tallfellas.

"Look, we produce all-round players who can adapt to the opposition's weaknesses," said Speaks. "Our GM knows what he's doing."

But speaking off the record later on, Speaks admitted the failure to train OD had left the club's staff confused.

"I know it was on the schedule at the start of the season but it never seemed to happen. We all think it's barmy, we were always going to be up against the piddly pong sorryhers in the finals this season," she didn't say.
