ElMacca plots spending spree

Tallfellas owner El Macca has confirmed that the club plans to buy big at the start of this season.

"We want the best young English talent available and we're prepared to bid to get it," he said.

"I obviously can't trust my own scouts, so I'm going to take the best of what's on the market and train them up instead."

Elmacca said he wasn't worried that playing rookies would harm the club's playoff chances.

"As long as we're contenders to win the EBBL in season 13, that's good enough," he told a shocked news conference.
