Summers Rocks the Draft Bar

Titchy 19 yr old "Power Forward" Michael Summers, 6'4" has beaten out club veteran Phil Rutland for a spot on next season's roster.

"Elmacca laughed like a drain when he saw the scouting department's idea of a new power forward but at least he's bigger than Phil and I'm sure we can teach him to play defence somewhere along the line," said club spokesperson Fanny Speaks.

Speaks denied that Elmacca was seeeeeeeeeeeething after a second poor draft in a row and had threatened to not only withraw funding from the scouts, but also their bowels.

"No, no, no, the boss is fine with it. Yes, he has bid on about five draftees so far but I'm sure that's no reflection on our scouts," said Speaks.

Veteran players Evan Gough and Richard Ruark are understood to be concerned about the club's active presence in the transfer market.
