Tallfellas roll the dice...and win (for now)

The tallfellas head into the promotion finals tiebreaker feeling newly invigorated after a thrilling two point victory over the Sing Song Warblerers at the tiptoptaven Saturday.

A surprisingly relaxed Tallfellas played with baskets of confidence, maintaining a narrow lead throughout the contest.

"It was never in doubt," said Ben Collins, looking fresh as as daisy after playing 43 minutes in the game. "We knew they couldn't beat us on our home court, so we just switched on to autopilot and glided to victory."

Questioned on the riskiness of treating a must win game like any other scrimmage, Tallfellas spokesperson Fanny Speaks replied.

"We never doubted Elmacca's strategy, they were really lucky to get within two points. The boys look fit and well and are now raring to show the Ding Dong Dodderers how to play ball, playoff-stylee."

Speaking off the record, Elmacca could be heard telling coaches "Phew, we dodged that bullet. Now load up and go shoot down the warriors!"
