After astonishing League III.16 last season and winning the championship convincingly from 4th place without losing in the finals, major restructuring followed, forcing us to part ways with our experienced players.
Things are already much tougher in Division 2. We seemingly overestimated the league payout, and the original squad proved too expensive once again. This gave us good reason to unfortunately let go of PACO and GIANT, our starting PF and C. Although we didn't plan on selling both, the offers were simply too big to refuse.
Despite our 4-0 start, playing without a true PF will be a major challenge. Shem will step in at C, but there will always be a gap in our lineup until we can make another signing, likely in the second half of the season.
The goal remains unchanged: stay up in Division 2 this year, then push for promotion to Division 1 two seasons from now. The core trio—PG, SG, and SF—is 100% staying intact for the coming seasons; we've proven how strong we are.[...
