Perfect Regular Season!

The New York Chunks have accomplished the first major goal of the season, and it was done in dominating fashion. The perfect regular season has been achieved with a perfect 22-0 record. The Chunks will now look to finish strong with a perfect playoff run and advancement to Division III.

How dominant was the regular season? The average point differential was 30.7 points per game, which means the average game was a completely one-sided blow-out. What further emphasizes the degree to which the Chunks have completely overplayed the competition is the heavy use of the second-stringers in the starting line-up, and the sheer number of games that the Chunks clearly coasted with less-than-average effort. The chunks did not play a single game with all regular starters in the line-up, no player started more than 15 games, only 4 players played in at least 20 games, and only one player averaged 25.0 minutes per game.

Given the rest that every player has received throughout the season, every player is in great game shape and ready to finish out this statement season with nothing less than the championship.
