Chunks Expect More in Lucky 13

As the New York Chunks turn the page from Season 12 to Season 13, the team's attitude is transforming from hopeful to expectant. In the Chunks' third season in Division II, their win total once again improved, this time to a 10-12 record. However, unlike in the previous season, their record was not good enough to avoid a relegation playoff, which the Chunks won in two straight games.

This season the Chunks are carrying their best roster yet, and the with the kind of depth that, with some luck, could lead to a deep Cup run. The real goal, however, is to finally reach a .500 record and not just contend for a playoff spot, but make the playoffs. Another below .500 record would be disappointing.

It is notable that the Chunks' season opener with the be their 200th regular season game
