Arizona to Enjoy Home Coooking for a While!

Saturday Arizona will travel to play DaDawgs in what is likely to be their last road game until May 12th, which will be game 2 of the finals. The Desert Storm finish the season with back to back home games after their final road game of the season Saturday. Newly Acquired Center Foder Zekic was happy because "I still have so much to learn about my new home, and I need to buy a house!”

SF Shoemaker capitalizing on his endorsement deal said "I plan to eat at Ajo Also Mexican Cafe a lot over the next few weeks!". Arizona is 19-0 and has clinched home court the playoffs, and a win Saturday on the road would all but clinch home court through the finals, and likely mean the team will finish the season undefeated.

Arizona jumped out to a big lead in their game Tuesday with the Bangerz and the sparse crowd wasted no time chanting "II.4...II.4...II.4". The win Tuesday ran their all-time DIII record to 40-1! Arizona declared from day one their goal was to win the championship in convincing fashion, and so far they appear right on track!

Their new big man gives them a tremendous inside presence and makes things even easier for the Arizona guards! Already adept at finding the open guys in space, Zekic gives them a target that can downright dominate and control the paint.

With the exception a possible backup, the team feels not only ready for the Season 19 playoffs, but they feel they are locked and loaded as is for D2, and have every intention of winning the championship immediately upon their return to division they recently relegated out of.

The team had a plan, and it was clear from the beginning that the fans were not on board with this...The results have spoken for themselves, but the fans are still miffed about dropping a division and going through a mini rebuilding project. Team officials are confident the fans will be back in full force for the playoffs, and that will carry over for when they move back to D2!!
