Arizona Clinches HCA; Filimon Danila Inducted to the Hall of Fame!

Facing one of the last 8 teams in the cup, Arizona took advantage of a weary Old Yet Sexy Hippies team when they traveled to Hippie Land in a league game following the Hippies ouster from the tournament at the hands of the King Drive Ballers.

The Desert Storm won 102-80 locking up Home Court Advantage through the playoffs and finals should they advance that far. Feeling like Home Court Advantage was all the separated the team from winning the championship two seasons ago, their goal from day one was to clinch HCA this season....however, with the amazing quantity of great teams in the league, it took 20 games to get it done.

With just 2 games left in the seasons, the Great 8 is still so wide open, and Arizona's first round opponent is unknown, because it could be anyone of 4 teams at this point. In what could be a Conference Championship preview, Arizona will be hosting the Reston Thumpers on Tuesday.

In other news, Lorenzo Blands injury turned out to be nothing more than a bruise, and the only reason he came out of the game was because the the game was well in hand, and no sense risking anything regarding the MVP candidate.

The team has also announced that Filimon Danila has been inducted into the Arizona Desert Storm Hall of Fame!! The teams star PG has been the best defender and passer and team history, and he joins James Shoemaker as the 2nd active player on the team in the HoF.

After Saturdays win, playoff tickets went on sale; Game 1 was sold out in 17 minutes. The fans are really getting excited about looks to be a very exciting post season in League II.4!!
