Champions!

After breazing through league play, enroute to a perfect 22-0 record, Arizona ran into major resistance in a hard fought series against Fosse Designs. Fosse showed why they were able to win the Great 8 Championship with a determined gritty performance against the home team. Arizona won the Championship series 2-1; however, in the 3rd and final game of the Championship series, it was still a one possession game midway through the 4th before Arizona closed the game on an 18-3 run to win 86-69!

Just like in game 1, Foder Zekic was a one man wrecking crew piling up 34 points, and 14 rebounds. He had more Free Throw attempts (20) by himself, than Fosse did on the entire night (17 attempts).

With the win, Arizona will head back to Division 2. This is the Desert Storms 4th Championship in just 8 seasons as a franchise. Tomorrow Arizona will learn how they faired in the draft, and which D2 league they will be in. Arizona accomplished all their goals for this season, and first thing tomorrow morning, they begin going after their D2 goals!
