Conference Champions!!

For the 6th time in their 8 season history as a franchise, the Arizona Desert Storm are Conference Champions! With SBCT's head coach AWOL, Arizona had no trouble dispatching the Rebels 93-63 after a slow start put them in an 8-2 hole. From that point on, it was all Arizona, and they cruised to an easy victory including starting the 4th quarter 15-0 for the exclamation point!

Rather that seeing a contrast in styles in the Finals, we will see the two best teams in the league, both inside attacking teams, Fosse Designs at Arizona. Both teams have been in D2, both are defensive teams that like to score in the paint. Vegas Odds Makers already have Arizona 2:1 favorites in this game, but most experts agree that the majority of the advantage Arizona has is HCA.

So after their 6 conference championships, Arizona now has an opportunity to be league champions for the 4th time in team history. Arizona shot 53% tonight, with another balanced scoring effort with Somlo and Ruiz leading the team with 18 points. Tonights game was also a record crowd for Ajo Als Arena as 16,262 attended the game!

Tuesday May 8th will be Game 1 of the Championship series with Arizona Hosting the game. Ajo Als Arena capacity is 16,400 and that game expected to be a sellout and break tonights record!
