Arizona Finishes off "Dog Week" to stay Unbeaten!

Arizona went on the road last night using a very impressive defensive effort to move to 4-0 on the season. The visiting Desert Storm broke open a close game holding the Riverdogs to just 6 points in the 2nd quarter, and outscored the home team 45-19 in the middle two quarters to put the game away.

In just 28 minutes, National Team sensation Lorenzo Bland led the team with an efficient effort, 22 points and 13 rebounds, on 11/16 shooting. Arizona only shot 41% in this game, their lowest of the season, experiencing first hand that the Riverdogs defense is for real. Not to be outdown though, the Desert Swarm defense was stifling holding the Riverdogs to just 19 made baskets on 23% shooting.

Arizona heads home to face the Old Yet Sexy Hippies in a Nationally televised game. Upon hearing that their team is a 30 point underdog on the road Saturday night, Hippie fans gathered for a demonstration, and danced in the hopes of helping their team to make more shots against the #1 defense in the league.
